This segment, like that of the Old Town/Pearl District segment, is defined by the impressive canopies and green space of the South Park Blocks. It stretches from SW Salmon Street to almost the southern end of the South Park Blocks through Portland State University. The northern half of this segment runs through the Cultural District and a collection of cultural and regional attractions including the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Historical Society and the Arelene Schnitzer Concert Hall. The southern half of this segment feels more institutional as it is within the Portland State University quad and runs along its western edge to SW College Street.
